Things will never be the same

 Hey all;

When I told you to write about your favorite singer or band or music in general, I realised that this will put me on the spot. Why I named this post this way? The answer is easy.
This is the name of one of the songs of my favourite band. Things will neber be the same from the Tourism album. I'm a guy from the eighties, so I love music and bands from that time. Probably, you don't know  Roxette, you are too young to know them! They were really famous during the 80's and 90's and brought their music from the Scandinavian world. They  were many times on the top of the Billboard music ranking and one of their most famous songs was "It must have been love" from the Pretty Woman Movie soundtrack. They came to Chile  for the first time in 1992 and came back in 2010. Life gives you surprises sometimes and there I was singing their songs with a bunch of friends.. Yes, they are old like me! Lol.. Roxette started a new world tour and they were playing their music around the world during 2012 and during 2013.. I went to their concerts in Buenos Aires and Santiago. Unfortunately Marie Fredriksson passed away last year, so "things will never be the same"

What about your favourite music? Tell me about it..

Regards

  1. i'd never listen that band before, but I've listen others bands of the 80s and 70s like the cure, soda stereo, Queen, depeche mode, blondie, and others. I'll search on a youtube some of their songs!

  2. the song in that part of the movie gives him too much feeling. If listening to music from the 70s and 80s makes you old, I think I am too hahaha, but to balance things out a bit, listening to current music, like Dua Lipa helps hahaha

  6. Personally, my musical tastes range from the 90s onwards, so I'm not surprised that I didn't know Roxette. The quality of Scandinavian artists never ceases to amaze me!

  7. The things never will be the same, it's a phrase with a lot of feelings, I could feel the same in some years lol but sometimes it's good try to know new things and update about music, maybe we found something that we like and didn't know.

  12. I was born in 1996 and the only songs that I can remember from that time are Aqua songs, so it's true, this is completely unknown to me.

  14. I don't know where I heard that band from, the truth sounds quite familiar to me and I think that if I listen to any of their songs I probably know who they are. Anyway, a shame that the artist has already passed, because if I become obsessed with songs, I probably want a concert, and I will not be able to see it as it was before.

  17. when I was younger, I was a big fan of rock and I only listened to that, but as I have grown, I became a person "who listens to everything" if I like a song I don't care about the style, I just enjoy it

  19. Hi again! Well, after reading I realized I haven't seen horror films in a while... personally I didn't like The Ring that much, It seemed kind of funny sometimes. Lately I've been thinking that the horror genre is renewing itself... for example, I think a good suspense/horror film that has been released not so long ago it's Midsommar, though clearly it doesn't count as an horror film for everyone, plus, nowadays it's not that easy to scare as it was years ago.
