My future job - I already have one!

There is not much I can say about this topic because I already have my job which is goint to be the only one for the future. But, you are still young and you still can think of the things you want to be. Food lover? Yes, I am

 

Hello everyone; 
Actually, I don’t have a favorite dish or meal. I really love eating a lot and hopefully I don’t have to worry about getting fat. I love eating sweet things like cakes or desserts. I love Peruvian food, so some time ago I found a “picada” where I can rejoice myself eating home-made Peruvian food.. It is great especially the ceviches and parihuelas, a kind of soup with meat and vegetables.. I like sushi too, especially the hot ones covered with chicken or roasted salmon. There are many flavors and mixes, besides it is pretty healthy and delicious! Mexican food is very tasty and hot, but it is always great to go to a restaurant and eat some enchiladas or fajitas… If we think on typical Chilean food and I love stew, a kind of meal with meat, vegetables and corn flour that we called “ chuchoca” have you tried it? I’m not a person difficult to please, so any food you offer me will be welcomed! Just be free  and EAT whatever you like!

Just a movie or many? That's the question!

Hello everyone,

When dealing with movies or series I prefer movies. It is not always easy to say which one is our favorite. There are movies for everyone, so everybody can get what she/he wants. I love going to the cinema, but it is hard to say which my favorite movie is. I love action and horror films but also like sci-fi films. I really enjoyed watching The Lord of the Rings saga and the Marvel saga of superheroes, such as X-men, Iron man or the Avengers. I loved The Ring, and I could watch it one time after the other. The last movies I watched were The Body, and the excellent Spanish Trilogy of Baztan. I also like those movies based on great best sellers such as Gone with the wind or others. One of my favorite movies is Sarah's key based on the book of the same name. It tells the story of an American journalist’s present investigation into the Vel´d’Hiv roundup of Jews in German-occupied Paris in 1942. It tells the story of young girl Sarah’s experiences during and after these events, illustrating the participation of the French bureaucracy while also showing how the French citizens hid and protected Sarah from Vichy France Authorities. The film alternates between Sarah’s life in 1942 and the journalist researching the story in 2009. It is a great movie, but as in many cases, the book is always better!

Things will never be the same

 Hey all;

When I told you to write about your favorite singer or band or music in general, I realised that this will put me on the spot. Why I named this post this way? The answer is easy.

This is the name of one of the songs of my favourite band. Things will neber be the same from the Tourism album. I'm a guy from the eighties, so I love music and bands from that time. Probably, you don't know  Roxette, you are too young to know them! They were really famous during the 80's and 90's and brought their music from the Scandinavian world. They  were many times on the top of the Billboard music ranking and one of their most famous songs was "It must have been love" from the Pretty Woman Movie soundtrack. They came to Chile  for the first time in 1992 and came back in 2010. Life gives you surprises sometimes and there I was singing their songs with a bunch of friends.. Yes, they are old like me! Lol.. Roxette started a new world tour and they were playing their music around the world during 2012 and during 2013.. I went to their concerts in Buenos Aires and Santiago. Unfortunately Marie Fredriksson passed away last year, so "things will never be the same"

South Africa, where the world ends!

 Hello everyone!

As we have to write about a country where we’d like to visit,  I’d say that I don’t have a favorite one, but if I had to choose one, after the pandemics, I’d travel to South Africa. I think is it a very interesting country to visit. There are so many things to see and do there; if you like wildlife you can visit one of the most famous wildlife parks there, The Kruger Park.  As the home of the Big 5 and the second largest reserve in Africa, this area of the wild , unspoiled by humans, has become a major destination for travelers across the globe. I think it would be a great adventure!  However, if you don’t like nature very much, you can go to the cities. You can visit Cape Town which is one of the most populated cities in South Africa after Johannesburg and Pretoria the capital. It is a very multicultural city and it has a lot of history and places to sight see.  The city has several well-known features that attract tourists, most notably Table Mountain. You can reach to the top of the mountain by either hiking up or by taking the Table Mountain cablecar. As you can see, South Africa is an interesting place, so save some money and have a big time!
